One of our favourite blogs is Fashion Bloggers, who are famous for photographing the street style of the uber cool and stylish fashion bloggers from around the world. And we love it. Everyday there’s something new and it’s where we first saw ‘jewellery layering’ back in the early summer.

The more necklaces or bracelets you can squeeze on, the better as far as Fashion Bloggers are concerned, and what could be better for the festive season than an arm full of arm candy, or layers of delicate chains and chunky necklaces to get the party going? We love the studded chunky necklaces from John And Pearl, fine chains and bracelets from Ashiana, and tassel bracelets from Dainty Damsel.

We are LOVING the glitter nail polish trend this winter, especially with the festive season fast approaching and Christmas parties clocking up in the diary. However, we don’t love the fact that it takes HOURS to get the stuff off and is potentially damaging to the nails too.

So what’s a girl to do? The girls at BeautyMART (ex-Vogue Beauty Director and ex-Ruby & Millie) know a thing or two when it comes to beauty and posted this tip on their blog earlier this week. It’s still time-consuming but does the job well.

However, what we’re really loving right now is something we picked up on Pinterest from Beautyland. Just make sure you stock up on glue and orange sticks…!

New in this week are the long awaited necklaces from John & Pearl. We LOVE them!

John & Pearl is an exciting young jewellery label producing bold statement jewellery that is unique, colourful and fun to wear. We love the combination of metal, studs and brightly coloured ribbon, something to cheer us up as the weather gets colder.

Jewellery designer, Julie Hannay, set up John & Pearl after spending six years designing for luxury costume jewellery brands in London. She wanted to design the kind of jewellery that she loved, that is wearable, fun, and on trend. She calls it affordable luxury, to be treasured and admired. We would definitely agree.

This is John & Pearl’s first jewellery collection and our favourite pieces are the Juliette Necklace in Wisteria, £110; Anna Neon Necklace in Pink; and the Laura Necklace in Silver.

One of our favourite designers, Milly NY, has just arrived from New York.  Beautiful colour block dresses, print blouses, box jackets and skirts, all of which look fabulous with black tights and heels.

Created by Michelle Smith, Milly NY has become famous for her timeless pieces which are smart, sexy and feminine, as well as her exquisite prints and colours, luxurious fabrics and attention to detail. Her collections also have a vintage vibe which we love.

Michelle started out in Paris working for Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior Couture, finally returning to her native New York to launch Milly NY, which now has a devoted following including Gwyneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham, Beyonce and Thandie Newton. You can count us in too!

The nights are drawing in, the heating is on, and Halloween is just around the corner. That can only mean one thing… it’s getting darn chilly!

We take the cold in our stride at Mee and love nothing more than layering up with woollies, boots and scarves. This is why we’re loving our New In this week, especially the Suzanne Bettley winter warmers. With a career in hats that spans 27 years, Suzanne knows  her beret from her beanie (and her Kossack hat!) We just love these deliciously warm and cosy knitted berets and scarves.

The only additional accessory required is a cup of hot chocolate. With marshmallows preferably!

We are so excited that one of our all time favourite photographers, the legendary Tim Walker, will be showcasing over 175 of his most inspirational pictures in a new exhibition held at Somerset House, London, this month. Entitled Story Teller, the exhibition will give fans of his work a chance to see his ambitious and original images up close.

His imaginative and beautiful images have cultivated an impressive cult following over the past few years, his shoots are the stuff of fashion dreams, it would be impossible not to be inspired by his incredible work.

He told Vogue, “It is very difficult to make the ideas in my head come to life, but what is harder is making them look effortless. A genuine sense of love for the subject matter permeates through every picture in the exhibition and accompanying book. Looking back at my earlier pictures, I think that the work is very much coming from the same place. I have gone through a period of challenging myself with a complicated idea to currently challenging myself with the idea of simplicity.”

Thankfully, the exhibition is on for three months – plenty of time to get up to London – but if you can’t make it, his new book, Story Teller by Tim Walker, is now available.

Tim Walker Story Teller will open at Somerset House, London on 18 October 2012 until 27 January 27.

We’re loving our nails this autumn and nobody does it better than OPI.
